The Jackrabbit Ski League was created in the early 1980s and received its name from herman Smith Johannsen, who had been given the nickname "Wapoos" (Jackrabbit) by the Cree Indians he met while designing cross country ski trails in Canada.  This program book is used to teach etiquette, safety and techniques to cross country skiers aged six to nine years. This book was produced in both French and English.
